Check out this list of exciting books coming out this fall. These are some books I’m really excited for. Which books can you not wait to see hit the shelves? Be sure to comment below and tell me what titles you are most excited for!
The Darkest Star by Jennifer L Armentrout
I have only read a few of Jennifer L Armentrout’s books, but found them spicy and captivating. This one is a new spin off series of her hit Lux series. Who wouldn’t be excited for this book.
Beneath the Citadel by Destiny Soria
I recently read this book and can’t wait to share my review with you guys. This book is fantasy gold with both LGBTQ and mental illness representation. I found myself comparing it to Six of Crows the whole time I read it. A hidden gem and a must read.
The Boneless Mercies by April Genevieve Tulcholke
Ahhh! My most anticipated fall read by far. April Genevieve Tulcholke is one of my top 5 favorite authors. This is a gender flipped retelling of Beowulf by one of my favorite authors. I finally got my hands on a copy, so what are you waiting for! A must have on any respectable fall TBR.
Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor
I have to admit that I’m late to the game here. I am just now reading Strange the Dreamer. I know, I know, I’m super late to the fandom. I love Laini Taylor and absolutely adored Daughter of Smoke and Bone, so this is obviously on my list of fall must haves.
Sadie by Courtney Summers
This book was incredible. Already the most buzzed about YA thriller of fall 2018, this book is a knockout. If you love gritty, fast paced thrillers, throw this on your TBR. If you’re not sure, check out my review first.
Girls of Paper and Fire by Natasha Ngan
This YA fantasy sounds absolutely enchanting. A fantastical rags to riches story with a touch of romance. The cover drew me in and the description enticed me. A definite on this fantasy fan’s TBR, what about yours?
The Dream Daughter by Diane Chamberlain
For fans of The Time Traveler’s Wife, this book absolutely belongs on your shelf. It would be a perfect book club pick, because you’re going to want to talk about it. I loved this one and I’m sure you will too. Here’s my review if you want to see if this belongs on your TBR.
Outrun the Wind
I love Greek mythology and any sort of retelling always winds up on my list. My favorite Greek goddess, Artemis, happens to be at the center of this tale. Is this one on your TBR?
Tell me all about books coming out this fall that you can’t wait for or have already read. Did your most anticipated read not make the list? I’m always looking to grow my TBR, tell me what you recommend this fall in the comments!
Great list! You are going to be very busy

Yes to Sadie! Outrun the Wind sounds interesting coz I love Greek mythology! But honestly, I think the cover could’ve been better 😀

I agree, Sadie was awesome. I love Greek mythology too, but the cover doesn’t really grab you like it should. I love the cover for Beneath the Citadel, that cover is absolutely stunning.

I didn’t realise the Boneless Mercies was supposed to be a retelling of Beowulf! It did have a real sense of Beowulf to it, but I thought it was just inspired by and perfectly fitted to the style. That’s so exciting!

Beneath The Citadel was freaking amazing 5/5 for me! But unfortunately I couldn’t connect with Outrun The Wind, which really upset me as I was so here for f/f fantasy, sigh.

Everytime someone compares Beneath the Citadel to Six of Crows, I get even more excited! I managed to get an arc for that one but haven’t had the time to read it so I’m still so excited to get to it. I also think Outrun the Wind sounds fantastic! Such a great idea for a mythology retelling.
