Birthday Book Haul

Birthday Book Haul

This year I asked for books for my birthday! I got so many and they were some of the best gifts ever. I was so happy to receive these books. I also got some gift cards, a necklace, , a beautiful journal to write in, a Packers cup, a Packers sweatshirt and a portable photo studio, which I used to take some of these photos. I could not have had a better birthday, so of course, I wanted to share my book haul with my bookish friends.

I got two ARCs as gifts, Muse of Nightmares and The Wicked King, both of which I have been talking about non-stop and super jealous of everyone who had them. To my complete surprise and delight, my ARC of Muse of Nightmares is signed. I decided to read the two of these back to back with buddies on Goodreads to avoid a slump. I just finished The Wicked King (check out my review) and am currently reading Muse of Nightmares.

All of these titles are from my parents, except for the ARC of Muse of Nightmares. My sister came in town for my birthday all the way from Utah, she gave me the Packers sweatshirt. During the day we played with a spirograph and at night we had sushi, cookie cake and of course, the gift of books. So far the only title I have read is The Cheerleaders, which was amazing. These are all titles that I REALLY wanted, some of which I got denied for an ARC.

Then my Nana, Papa, Uncle Tim and my cousin Murphy all came in over the weekend to have dinner and cake for my birthday. I had a blast hanging out with all of them for a few hours. They have always been so supportive of everything I’ve ever done. My Nana and Papa got me all of these titles. Most of these are sequels to series that I’ve started.

These are all of the review copies that came right around my birthday and felt like gifts as well. I didn’t know that some of these were coming, so they certainly felt like gifts to me.
