#TBT Last Years Library Book Haul

It’s time for a throw back! Last year I was able to go to one of the largest library book sales in my city. I picked up 18 books. I discovered some new favorites and some titles I haven’t yet read. I thought it would be interesting to see how many I had read in a year and if I had discovered any great gems.

The book sale is going on again this year, but it doesn’t look like I’m going to make it there unfortunately. There are a lot of library book sales in my area and I hope to make it to one of them soon.

Have Read: 6/18

To Read: 12/18

5 Stars: 2

4 Stars: 4

The thing that is most surprising to me is how many of these books I actually haven’t read yet. The second thing that surprises me is that of the books that I have read I  rated all of them 4 or 5 stars. I enjoyed all of the books that I picked up at this library sale, and even discovered two 5 star reads. This library sale is how I discovered April Genevieve Tucholke through Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, which became one of my all time favorite reads. But the most exciting thing of all is how many more books I still have yet to read. So despite not being able to go to the sale this year I still have plenty of great books to read.

Let’s Chat!

Have you ever been to a library book sale? What do you think of last year’s library sale haul? Have you read any of these titles? Are there any that I haven’t read yet that you think I should move up my to be read list? Make sure to comment below so we can talk about it!

  2. Aren’t library book sales wonderful? Our local library (love of my life) has a really impressive one every fall and I skip in there with cash in my hand and eyes full of stars. It’s like a Scholastic book fair for adults.

If you ever go to Baltimore MD, go to The Book Thing. A giant 3-room warehouse full of free books. Yes, free, I used to go there once a month, every month.

    1. The library closest to me has theirs in the fall as well! It’s a lot cheaper than the Scholastic book fair though! Typically it’s a dollar a book! Where else can you get books that cheap?!?!

OMG if I am ever traveling through Maryland I will definitely stop there!!
